This extremely rare black tea comes, as its name suggests, from our favorite mountain “Tây Côn Lĩnh”, one of the highest mountains in Hà Giang province in the far north of Vietnam. This black tea is harvested from hundred-year-old tea plants, some over 300 years old.
This type of tea is called “Shan Tuyết” because of the very light white color of its buds. This color is due in part to the lack of light caused by the omnipresence of haze (at this altitude of over 2400 meters, there is a lot of fog and very little light).
Since it is a black tea, the buds of Shan Tuyết Tây Côn Lĩnh then undergo a 100% fermentation step. Its sublime dark infusion will surprise you and take you on a journey with its very pronounced aromas with vanilla, honey, cocoa and woody notes.
Change of scenery guaranteed !
