Introduction
“PAI MU TAN” is a rare “Shan Tuyết” white tea from Hà Giang province in the far north of Vietnam. This white tea is harvested from hundred-year-old tea plants, some over 300 years old. The name “PAI MU TAN” means “White Peony” in Vietnamese.
Fruity, refreshing and slightly woody, this white tea will surprise you with its subtle aromas reminiscent of hazelnuts, chestnuts and ripe fruit. This tea develops very pleasant tangy and zesty flavors.
The white tea “PAI MU TAN” is composed of large buds covered with fine duvets reminiscent of snow, hence its name “Shan Tuyết” which means “snow” in Vietnamese.
